Classes from 3rd to 6th are currently doing trials for the Credit Union Table Quiz. Teams will be announced in the coming weeks.
Aela Bowe was this weeks winner. Aela won €210. Congratulations Aela! Many thanks to all who continue to support our “Split the Pot” fund. Don’t forget envelopes are available in outlets around Kiltealy. One entry costs €2 , if your not in, you can’t win!
Swimming will begin Tuesday the 31st of January. Children from 2nd to 6th class attend swimming lessons in the Waterfront Leisure Centre in Enniscorthy. Children travel to and from Enniscorthy by bus, which is supervised by teachers from the school.
The swimming coaches place the children into groups of similar swimming abilities enabling them to make steady progress throughout the lessons.
The swimming lessons run for 8 weeks and all children who have attended receive a certificate at the end of the 8 weeks.
On the 19th and 20th of December, after three months of practice, the children finally put on their Funky Kids Concert for all their family and friends. It was a fantastic show filled with lots of brilliant singing and dancing. There was something for everyone, from Noah’s Ark and The Grease Melody to Puppet on a String and Monster Mash. It was great to see everybody up singing and dancing and having FUN!
Well done to everyone involved especially the stars of our show, the children. The staff and children from Kiltealy N.S.would like to thank Denis and Olivia (Funky Kids) for all their hard work over the past few months!
