We are delighted to welcome you to our celebration of World Book Day at Kiltealy NS. World Book Day is a day for celebrating the wonderful gift of reading. All of our pupils selected their favourite book and dressed up as their chosen character. The day reminds us of how much we love reading and the importance of books in our school. This is now an annual event in our school. There was a lot of enjoyment on the day.
As part of World Book Day, Ms Kehoe launched the annual readathon. The pupils are looking forward to reading a lot of new books. There were 320 books read last year and we hope to exceed that this year.
