Congratulations to the pupils in 2nd Class who received the sacrament of Penance for the first time on Tuesday 5th March. Thank you to Ms.O’Neill and Fr.Fegan for preparing the children. Lot’s of hard work was involved but it looks like the children had time for a little break also. Well done to all involved.
Well done to all the pupils in 3rd and 4th Class who participated in our annual Fire Safety Lessons. Thank you to the fire officers for visiting our school.

Willow Weaving
As part of our Creative Schools Initiative, we have added a willow dome to our outdoor classroom. All the boys and girls in the school helped Terry the weaver to weave a beautiful dome that will be enjoyed for years to come in our school. A special thank you to Jim Cooper and Jim Hanrahan who helped us make the dome.
Bricks 4 Kids
As part of Engineers Week we had a fun filled visit from Bricks 4 Kids. All the classes had great fun building different things with the lego.
Pancake Tuesday
All our hard work made us very hungry and on Pancake Tuesday the classes were treated to a delicious snack.
World Book Day
World Book day was lots of fun this year and we really enjoyed dressing up as our favourite book characters. Well done to all the boys and girls you all looked fantastic.
Handwriting Winners
We are all working very hard on improving our handwriting in Kiltealy N.S. Here are this months handwriting winners. It was very hard to pick one winner from each class. Keep up the good work.
Seachtain na Gaeilge
Bhaineamar an spraoi as Seachtain na Gaeilge. Bhí an spóirt againn, bhíomar ag caint as Gaeilge i rith an lae agus ar an Aoine bhí Céilí mór againn agus sheinn Dónal O’ Connor na píb mála . Bhí gach duine ar fheabhas.
What a busy day we had in school today as all classes from infants to 6th class worked together to build a ‘Living Willow Sculpture ‘ for our outdoor classroom.
