Congratulations to James Aylward from 6th Class who came 3rd in the Age 11-13 Category of The Enniscorthy Credit Union Competition. The theme this year was “Dreams Are Made Of This”. James drew a picture of a boy sitting at his school desk daydreaming. James was presented with his prize and certificate at a prize-giving ceremony in The Riverside Hotel, Enniscorthy last Tuesday night. Well done James. A great achievement.

Congratulations to this weeks winner James Aylward. James won €207.
Many thanks for your continued support in this fundraiser. Envelopes available in Bowes, The Mill, The Post Office and Kiltealy National School.
The winner of Split the Pot on Monday the 7th of November was Larry Doyle. The win was well over €300 as there was two weeks of takings in the pot due to the midterm break.
Many thanks for the support of this fundraiser.
The boys football team were in hard luck on Monday afternoon when they were defeated by Fethard on a scoreline of 1-10 to 1-6 at the semi-final stage of the Rackard League. All Kiltealy players put in a mighty performance and were unfortunate to come out of the game with a loss. The team were well in contention at half-time but a few second half controversial decisions did not go in their favour and a victory slowly slipped away.
Well done to the entire team who did themselves, their schools and their families very proud throughout the league.
We look forward to seeing these boys in hurling action later in the school year as no doubt they will put in another great league campaign.
Congratulations to all on a great first term of work. We packed alot of learning into the 8 weeks, and alot of fun was had while doing so. Take a look below at some of the achievements.

The pupils of Kiltealy impressed again this year with fantastic efforts going into Halloween costumes.
Ghosts and goblins, witches and werewolves, zombies and skeletons; were scattered throughout the group that traveled around the village.
We stopped off to see the children from the playschool in their costumes and they treated us to a song and nursery rhyme.
We continued down through the village to the carpark where our group photo was taken before making our way back to the school.
